Some of his battles happened against Muslim emirs in Egypt, the Levant, and Northern Iraq. The present paper, drawing on just war theory, aims to explore the findings of its historical study of the Islamic sources and some Christian research in order to provide an answer to the question of to what extent Saladin's military conduct and policies are compatible with the principles of just war. The results of this descriptive-analytical study indicate that Saladin's military conduct is more in line with the realistic theory of war rather than with the concept and principles of just war theory because while the latter consider just war a legal war to achieve peace by avoiding cruel treatment of civilians, prisoners, and the aggressed environments, Saladin has fought wars with the aim of attaining more dominance, accompanied by revenge and unconventional invasions destructive for the civilians. Therefore, in spite of his observance of ethical rules in many wars, cruelty and seeking power is observed in his other wars.    }, keywords = {Saladin,Just War,crusaders}, title_fa = {جایگاه مفهوم جنگ عادلانه در سیره نظامی صلاح الدین ایوبی}, abstract_fa = {دوران بیست و دو ساله (567ـ589 ق) سلطنت صلاح الدین ایوبی، بنیانگذار ایوبیان مصر و شام، با دهها نبرد با صلیبیان همراه بود. افزون بر آن، نبردهای وی با امیران مسلمان در مصر، شام و شمال عراق نیز جریان داشت. این مقاله بر آن است تا حاصل پژوهش تاریخی خود در منابع اسلامی و برخی پژوهشهای مسیحیان را که از روشی توصیفیـ تحلیلی فراهم آمده است، با رهیافت معرفی شده از نظریه جنگ عادلانه بکاود تا به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که رفتار و سیاستهای نظامی این چهره تاریخی تا چه حدّ با اصول جنگ عادلانه قابل تطبیق است؟ دستاورد این پژوهش نشان از آن دارد که رفتار نظامی صلاحالدین بیشتر با نظریه واقعگرایانه جنگ تطبیق دارد تا با مفهوم و اصول نظریه جنگ عادلانه؛ زیرا در حالی که اصول جنگ عادلانه را جنگی قانونمند برای رسیدن به صلح و با اجتناب از رفتار خشونتبار با غیر نظامیان، اسیران و فضاهای محیطی مورد تهاجم میدانند، در کارنامه صلاحالدین، جنگهایی برای رسیدن به سلطه بیشتر، همراه با انتقامجویی و تهاجمهای نامتعارف آسیبزا برای غیر نظامیان دیده میشود؛ لذا به رغم رفتارهای سلطان ایوبی در رعایت موازین اخلاقی در بسیاری جنگها، خشونت و قدرتطلبی در موارد متعددی از دیگر جنگهای وی دیده میشود.    }, keywords_fa = {صلاح الدین,جنگ عادلانه,صلیبیان}, url = {https://hsow.journal.araku.ac.ir/article_37095.html}, eprint = {https://hsow.journal.araku.ac.ir/article_37095_ae006eeadeabab77bbd157bb1f2f7a94.pdf} }
