Guilan's local rulers had political and economic relations with governments outside Guilan, especially the Safavids and the Ottomans. Guilan's local governments, especially the Karkiya dynasty, played an important role in the rising to power of the Safavids, so the Safavids were initially tolerant of them. However, after the transfer of the Safavid capital to Qazvin, their political independence, especially their relations with the Ottomans, was not bearable by the Safavids, so Guilan became one of the areas of conflict between the Ottomans and the Safavids. The main question of the present article concerns the why and the how of the conflicts between Ottoman and Safavid governments over Guilan. By examining historical sources and analyzing them, the findings show that the Ottomans and the Safavids were competing for religious dominance in Guilan and dominating economic resources, especially the silk industry and its international trade route until finally with the conquest of Guilan by Shāh Abbās, most people of Guilan inclined to the Twelve Shi'ites, and the economic and commercial interests of Guilan were entirely placed at the disposal of the Safavids.    }, keywords = {Keywords: Guilan history,Caspian Sea trade,Ottoman-Safavid wars,Karkiya dynasty}, title_fa = {منازعات عثمانی و صفوی در گیلان}, abstract_fa = { گیلان تا پیش از برآمدن صفویان از استقلال نسبی برخودار بود و به دست حکومتهای محلی اداره میشد. حاکمان محلی گیلان با حکومت های خارج از مرزهای گیلان به ویژه صفوی و عثمانی روابط سیاسی و اقتصادی داشتند. حکومتهای محلی گیلان بهویژه کیاییان در به قدرت رساندن صفویان نقش مؤثری داشتند؛ از این رو صفویان در آغاز با آنها به مدارا و تسامح رفتار کردند، اما پس از انتقال پایتخت صفویان به قزوین، استقلال سیاسی آنها مخصوصاً روابط آنها با عثمانیان را تاب نیاوردند و گیلان به یکی از عرصههای ستیز بین عثمانی و صفوی تبدیل شد. پرسش اصلی مقاله بر چرایی و چگونگی منازعه بین دولتهای عثمانی و صفوی بر سر گیلان است. این نوشتار با بررسی منابع تاریخی و تحلیل آنها نشان داده است عثمانیان و صفویان برای به دست آوردن برتری مذهبی در گیلان و تسلط بر منابع اقتصادی به ویژه صنعت ابریشم و راه تجاری بین المللی آن با یکدیگر رقابت میکردند تا اینکه در نهایت با فتح گیلان به دست شاه عباس، بیشتر مردم گیلان به تشیع دوازدهامامی گرایش یافته و منافع اقتصادی و تجاری گیلان، تماماً در اختیار صفویان قرار گرفت. }, keywords_fa = {اسحاقوندان,تاریخ گیلان,تجارت دریای کاسپین,جنگهای عثمانی-صفوی,کیاییان}, url = {https://hsow.journal.araku.ac.ir/article_38483.html}, eprint = {https://hsow.journal.araku.ac.ir/article_38483_e458f607185a3918ae4c749bf4cc1305.pdf} }
